The idea behind Chessilliant™
Chessilliant™ was created to solve a common problem in chess learning:
Players are often taught what to play, but not how to think about a position.
The result is slower progress, uncertainty in decision-making, and a growing reliance on memorisation.
Chessilliant™ develops a clearer process built around three questions:
what is happening, why it matters, and how to respond.
Rather than trying to remember more moves, the focus is on understanding positions in a way that can be applied consistently across the game.
This means:
Seeing positions with structure rather than confusion
Making decisions based on reasoning, not guesswork
Developing skills that apply across all phases of the game
Who it’s for
Players starting from the basics
Players who feel stuck or inconsistent
Juniors and adults looking for structured improvement
The outcome
A player who can think independently, adapt during games, and continue improving without relying on memorised lines.
