Join a Chessilliant™ group lesson:
Structured coaching designed to help you understand the game and improve naturally.
Register your interest to be placed in a suitable group (Beginners or Intermediate), based on level and availability.
Your first session is a free trial, with no obligation to continue.
Chessilliant™ coaching is delivered through structured, live group sessions focused on building real understanding of the game.
Groups are organised by level (Beginners and Intermediate)
Sessions are delivered in a focused, interactive group setting
Each session includes:
45 minutes of structured coaching
10 minutes for questions and interaction
Groups are kept small to ensure focus and effective learning.
Sessions are interactive, and participants are encouraged to engage actively during the lesson.
Current schedule
Sessions are currently scheduled as follows:
Monday (6:30–7:30pm, UK time) — Beginners
Thursday (6:30–7:30pm, UK time) — Intermediate
If these times are not suitable, you can still register your interest. Additional groups may be created based on demand.
Beginners — learning the rules and building confidence
Intermediate players — improving planning and consistency
Suitable for both children and adults (typically ages 6 and above).
If you are unsure of your level, you will be guided to the most suitable group.

To join a group, simply register your interest.
You will be contacted to confirm your level and invited to a suitable session (Beginners – Monday or Intermediate – Thursday).
Your first session is free, giving you the opportunity to experience the coaching approach before committing.
Places are limited to maintain quality. If groups are currently full, you will still be offered a free trial session and placed on a priority list for the next available space.
Optional weekend sessions (typically once per month) provide an opportunity to:
Apply what has been learned in real games
Play in a structured, tournament-style environment
Build confidence through practical experience
All sessions are conducted online, using platforms such as Lichess, with guidance and supervision throughout.
New group classes are scheduled to begin in May 2026.
Places are limited, and groups will be confirmed once registration is complete.
To take part in sessions, you will need:
A device (laptop or tablet recommended)
A stable internet connection
Access to Microsoft Teams for all sessions (free to use)
Access to platforms such as Lichess (free to use)
A quiet environment for focused learning
Full guidance will be provided before your first session.
